  Just a small part of me

  this is a small part of me.. it is a strange thing how sometimes only one.

  child in a family will be mistreated, while the rest are spared.. it makes it difficult if not impossible to talk about things that happened.

  to me without some of my family members expressing disbelief.

  Some Elders Have Had Mistress'

  being in the org for a very long time i have seen people do all kinds of things .

  one thing that i have never really seen discussed is how common it is for an elder to have a mistress in the background.

  oh he may not be actually sleeping with her, but i personally for over 20 years was a second "wife "to an elder.

  To be honest as an ex-elder's wife I never saw this. And if I did you bet I would be talking about it.

  It surprises me because I have never seen it but then again I know full well that some elders think they are gawd and would probably go head and do what ever they want.

  THE STORY OF MY LIFE growing up a JW by queenie

  i have ben toying with this for some time to take under such a big job--and should it be book length / booklet or even a tract or a mere essay..it has me stumpt big time...i need some input is anyone interested or should just i just forgetthe whole frigin thing and just stick with things like writing about my mom helen (decd) my brother larry (decd) and skippy my first dog i ever had now also (decd) try to leave as much as possible about jw crap and write about things that make me feel ok and not depressed -- please i would like to put in book form eventually..thanks in advance everyone..linda lou aka queenie

  In Memory of a diff.kind of Silentlamb -Pics

  most of you know about my mother, she passed away from this world 17 yrs ago tomorrow, sept. 15, 1985. her passing was very hard on my sister and me , because it was a suicide.

  she had been a witness for 16 years and even almost died standing up for the blood issue in 1983, due to a stomach ulcer, and too many asprins.

  her blood count went down to 2 and she had to be put in a lear jet to get to houston, tx.

  Just to let you know we haven't forgotten.

  Leaving the WTS does let us move on. We are free to grieve and let go. Hopefully the peace you have found will stay with you throughout the day.

  yesterday i was at the book store and picked up a book titled recovering from sexual abuse, addictions, and compulsive behaviors.

  i thought it would be great for my job.

  i was sitting in the tub earlier reading the preface, acknowledgemetns and introduction (yes i read those).

  Wow so many of you keep me posting here. Your encouragement really helps me believe that sharing my story and the things I have learned is worth it.

  Dede Thank you. I am glad if some of it helps.

  HS I really want to publish a book of my poetry. I will be looking for someone in the area to help me out. Just hope I can find her.
